Argosy Cosmetics Co., Ltd. (“the Company”, “we”) is committed to protecting the personal data of our customers, prospective customers, and visitors to our website. This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal data under the Thai Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019) (PDPA) and related laws.

  • Data you provide directly — when you fill in a form on our website, contact us via chat channels (Facebook Messenger, LINE), by phone, by email, or when you visit our company, such as your full name, brand/business name, phone number, email, delivery address, contact channel, product category of interest, production quantity, and details of the brand you would like us to manufacture.
  • Data generated from using our services — such as contact history, production orders, design files, payment information, and shipping details.
  • Technical data — collected when you visit our website, such as IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, duration of visit, and cookies.
  • Data from advertising platforms — when you click or respond to our ads, the platform may send us additional information so we can contact you back, such as your profile name, the channel you used to reach us, and the ad you clicked.

2. Purposes of collecting and using data

  • To contact you back, provide consultation, and give information about our cosmetics and cosmeceutical manufacturing services.
  • To prepare proposals and provide the services you request, including product formulation development, packaging design, filing the product notification (Thai FDA), and product manufacturing.
  • To verify identity, enter into contracts, issue documents, and manage payments.
  • To deliver products and follow up after sales.
  • For marketing and communications related to our services, such as sending news, promotions, or special offers (you may withdraw your consent at any time).
  • To analyse and improve the quality of our website, services, and advertising.
  • To comply with laws, regulations, and orders of the relevant government authorities.

3. Legal basis for processing data

We collect and use your personal data on one of the following legal bases: (1) your consent; (2) performance of a contract or to take steps at your request before entering into a contract; (3) our legitimate interests, such as fraud prevention and service improvement; (4) compliance with the law; and (5) the exercise of official authority or the public interest.

We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose data only as necessary to the following persons or entities:

  • Service providers — such as website hosting providers, chat-system and advertising-platform providers, delivery providers, and accounting/payment-system providers.
  • Partners involved in manufacturing — such as packaging suppliers or testing laboratory providers, when necessary to provide our services to you.
  • Government authorities — or persons required by law, such as filing the product notification with Thailand’s Food and Drug Administration (Thai FDA) when you engage us to do so.

5. Transfer of data to other countries

The platforms we use to provide our services (such as Meta Platforms (Facebook/Messenger), LINE, Google) and our hosting/infrastructure providers may have servers or service providers located abroad. You therefore acknowledge that your data may be sent or transferred abroad, and we apply appropriate measures as required by law to ensure your data receives protection no less than that required under Thai law.

6. Data retention period

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary for the stated purposes and as required by law. In general, we retain it throughout our business relationship and afterwards for the statutory limitation period or as necessary to comply with the law — for example, tax and accounting records (no less than 5 years). When it is no longer necessary, we will delete, destroy, or anonymise the data.

You have the following rights under the PDPA:

  • The right to access and obtain a copy of your personal data.
  • The right to have your data corrected to be accurate, current, and complete.
  • The right to have your data deleted, destroyed, or anonymised.
  • The right to restrict processing.
  • The right to object to the collection, use, or disclosure of your data.
  • The right to withdraw the consent you have given (withdrawal will not affect processing already lawfully carried out).
  • The right to data portability to another data controller.
  • The right to lodge a complaint with Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Committee if you believe we are not complying with the law.

Our website uses cookies to keep the site working correctly, remember your preferences, analyse usage, and for advertising/marketing (for example, Meta and Google Analytics cookies). 11. Minors’ data

Our services are intended for business operators and individuals aged 20 years or older. If we receive a minor’s data without consent from their legal representative, we will delete that data as soon as possible.

12. Changes to this privacy policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in the law or in our services. We will state the date of the latest update at the top of this page and, for significant changes, we will notify you through appropriate channels.
